Two new members will join the ranks of the Canton School Committee following Tuesday’s town election. The ballot contained no contested races, and only 233 residents went to the voting booth.
Robert W. Golledge received 154 votes and C. David Emhardt received 156 votes. Both earned three-year seats on the School Committee, joining incumbents Reuki Schutt and John Bonnanzio, who received 167 and 154 votes, respectively, for one-year terms.
Other new office holders include Library Trustee Emily G. Prigot, who got 159 votes, and Tori McClain, who got 148 votes to be on the Planning Board.
Elsewhere on the ballot, incumbent selectman John J. Connolly received 178 votes.
Other incumbents included Library Trustees Margaret E. Mead and Kathy Fox Alfano, who received 159 and 161 votes, respectively; Board of Assessors member William C. Galvin, 181 votes; Board of Health member Robert Schneiders, 157 votes; and William J. McDaid, who retained his seat on the Housing Authority for another five years with 134 votes.
