Pinkberry will be serving up free swirls of tart frozen yogurt tonight at 7:30 in Harvard Square where the store will officially open for business Friday.
The California-based frozen yogurt chain opened its first Boston store on Newbury Street last fall and will open for business at 1380 Massachusetts Ave. in the heart of Harvard Square on Friday, said Chris Haynes, a publicist for Pinkberry.
The story will be serving free frozen yogurt from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. tonight, Haynes said.
A two-story Starbucks is slated to move in next door later this spring.
Pinkberry’s hours in Harvard Square will be 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays.
