Chef and restaurateur Bobby Flay introduces his first restaurant in the state of Massachusetts with the opening of Bobby’s Burger Palace (BBP) in Burlington, the 13th location nationwide, according to a press release.
Located in the Burlington Mall, 75 Middlesex Turnpike, BBP offers an assortment of burgers inspired by Bobby’s extensive travels throughout America and his love of the grill in a casual and convenient setting.
“At any time of year, my favorite thing to eat is a cheeseburger,” says Bobby. “And at BBP, I celebrate America’s variety of flavors, styles and cultures surrounding this classic staple, offering a selection of specialty burgers, served at a great price. The Boston-area has a very forward-thinking food community, and I’m very excited to be able to share this with the families and residents of Burlington.”
In honor of the first Boston-area opening, BBP Burlington will donate $1 for every burger, including ground turkey burgers and chicken breast sandwiches, sold during the first week of opening (Jan. 27- Feb. 3) to People Helping People’s Burlington Community Food Pantry—a local organization that operates year-round to provide food and other vital services to members of the Burlington community.
The 72-seat BBP is a nod to a classic burger joint. Cooked to order, patrons can choose from 10 signature burgers such as the Philadelphia Burger with Provolone cheese, griddled onions, and hot peppers, and the Santa Fe Burger with queso sauce, pickled jalapeños, and blue corn chips– all served on a sesame seed bun.
Also offered is a BBP Burger of the Month, which in January will be the Canadian Burger with white Cheddar cheese, Canadian bacon, and maple mustard sauce. February’s Burger of the Month will be the Louisiana Burger with spice crust, Pepper Jack cheese, Tasso ham, and spicy Remoulade hot sauce.
All burgers may be prepared with Certified Angus Beef, ground turkey, or a grilled chicken breast. Burgers can also be served topless, where the burger or grilled chicken is simply stacked onto a bed of greens without the bun. Bobby reminds patrons to get any burger crunchified, which means top the burger with crisp chips at no additional cost. Fountain and bottled sodas, iced tea, and lemonade are also available; 10 milkshakes and malteds in several flavors are also served with or without real whip cream.
BBP is open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Burgers range from $6.75 to $7.75; and a Kid’s BBP Burger Deal is also available. For on-the-go burger lovers, take-out service and online ordering are available.
