The Anti-Defamation League Tuesday announced that Brookline resident Jessica Lowenthal is the non profit organization's new assistant regional director for New England.
Lowenthal will be responsible for incident reports and several key Anti-Defamation League programs including a summer associates research project, an annual "Nation of Immigrants Community Seder" and the Civil Rights Committee for the five state New England region.
The Anti-Defamation League fights anti-Semitism through programs and services that counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry.
Lowenthal previously served as a teacher at Temple Sinai in Brookline where she created and managed the High Holiday youth services as well as the Rosh Hodesh group. Prior to that she was an intern at Hadassah Boston and the American Jewish Committee. She also served as an engagement fellow at American University Hillel, where she taught Jewish history and organized Birthright trips.
