Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed the Rite Aid Pharmacy at gunpoint on Tuesday evening.
According to police, employees said the man came into the Pearl Street store while wearing a mask and brandishing a hand gun. He jumped the counter and demanded drugs.
After employees filled a white plastic bag with a quantity of drugs, the suspect fled down a back hallway and exited through an emergency door, police said. He allegedly got into a car on Crescent Avenue and drove off.
A witness described the car as a gray Toyota Tacoma, and provided police with a license plate number. The car was last seen turning right onto Pearl Street.
Police are asking for assistance in identifying the robber. The suspect was described as a white man, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black ski mask, a green hooded sweatshirt, and black gloves.
No one was injured in the robbery.
