Five Brockton men arrested with drugs
Braintree and Quincy police arrested several people on Thursday who were allegedly dealing heroin in the South Shore Plaza parking lot.
According to police, the men parked in a row of cars in the parking lot and looked suspicious. Police soon approached the car, but the suspects refused to open the door.
Police forced their way into the cars and allegedly found a quantity of heroin packaged for sale on the floor of the passenger side.
Christian D. Keith, 19, Cameron A. Keith, 21, Aaron A. Baldasaro, 21 Latrelle D. Burton, 22, and Maurice L. Drayton, JR, 22, all of Brockton were placed under arrest and charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act.
Drayton was also charged with possession of Percocet after three pills were found in his pocket, police said.
Bridgewater man arrested for alleged cocaine deal
Police arrested a Bridgewater man on Thursday morning after he allegedly attempted to make a drug deal at a Braintree home.
Police said that officers were watching the Hobart Terrace home after receiving information about possible drug activity in the area.
While police were watching the house, a Kia Rio drove up to the house and left shortly thereafter, police said. Police said the vehicle had made an appearance at the home the day prior.
Braintree and Weymouth detectives approach the car and spoke to the driver, who was alleged holding crack cocaine in his hand, police said. Over $2000 was also found in the suspect’s pocket, police said.
Tremaine P. Hampton, 25, of Bridgewater was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act.
The Hobart Terrace homeowner, a 39-year-old man from Braintree, will also be summonsed to court for conspiracy. His name has not been released as he has not yet been charged.
