On Saturday, Nov. 2nd from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Landmark School, 429 Hale Street, Prides Crossing, in Beverly, MA will host another Electronics Recycling Collection for the community. The public is welcome to bring used and unwanted electronics to Landmark to be properly disposed. Acceptable electronics include: air conditioners, all phones, computers, computer batteries and chargers, TVs, printers, modems, answering machines, pagers, keyboards, telephones, fans, toasters, anything with a plug!! Also grills (no tanks), battery operated drills, lawn mowers, chain saws (please drain oil and fuel), scrap metal, rain gutters, grates, and more. Each item will cost $5 and a small box of random equipment will be $5. TVs are $20. Funds will help fund a Landmark High School service trip to Jamaica. Please no car batteries, large appliances or hazardous materials.
Landmark School is an independent, coeducational boarding and day school with elementary, middle, and college preparatory high school programs. It caters to students, grades 2 – 12, with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia. Students possess average to above average intelligence and normal behavioral development. Landmark’s mission includes an extensive Outreach Program of Professional Development courses, workshops, and publications for educators, administrators, clinicians, and parents.
