A new event has been added to the conclusion of the Beverly's Homecoming activities schedule.
The Mayor's Homecoming Reception will take place on Friday Aug. 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Carriage House at Lynch Park.
The event aims to showcase the improvements made thus far to the Carriage House, which was originally part of a grand estate built in the late 1800s, as well as highlight improvements planned for the near future.
All proceeds will benefit the Carriage House renovations.
The reception will feature an assortment of foods, courtesy of local vendors, including Timothy Hopkins Catering, William J. Creed & Sons, Ltd., Henry’s Catering, Creative Catering, Ipswich Clambake Company, Relish, Casual Catering, and Cupcake Bakery and Café. Wine and beer will be provided by North Shore Bartending and local musician Dan Murphy will provide entertainment for the evening on his keyboard.
Tickets can be purchased for $50 per person at Casa da Moda, Henry’s, and the mayor’s office, as well as on line at the Beverly Recreation Department's website. Sponsorships are available for $100.
More information about the reception is also available by contacting Paul Lanzikos at 978-210-1331 or email@example.com.
