Beverly Cooperative Bank is hosting an exhibit of original artwork by Catherine Twomey, a 2013 graduate of Salem High School.
“I like to delve into a lot of different styles instead of just staying in one genre,” she said when asked about her favorite type of work.
Lately she has been working in ink and watercolor. “I've basically been interested in art for the majority of my life, but I didn't see myself going anywhere with it until 2 years ago and even now I still greatly consider myself a work in progress. I'm really excited to be going to Massachusetts College of Art and Design in the fall,” Ms. Twomey added. While attending Salem High School she was involved in AP Art and Jr./Sr. Portfolio classes.
The art exhibit will run through June 20th. The public is invited to drop by and view the exhibit at 254 Cabot Street, during banking hours: Monday - Wednesday, 8:30am – 4pm; Thursday & Friday, 8:30am – 8pm; and Saturday, 8:30am – 1pm.
