Belmont police have released a sketch of the man suspected of stealing money from St. Joseph's church.
The sketch shows a white male with chin length hair and a mustache. Police say they have no further updates on the case.
"It's still under investigation," said Belmont police Cpt. J. Peter Hoerr. "This sketch was drawn with the help of the witness who spoke with the man before the theft took place."
The incident occurred on March 29 at 11 a.m. The stolen money, around $150, was meant to be used to help Haitian children.
Police said the suspect is a white male in his mid-30s, about 5-foot-8, with a mustache and dirty blond hair. He was last seen walking on Common Street in a beige Carhartt jacket, police said.
Anyone having information on the case should contact the Belmont police department at 617-484-1300.
