The Boston Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a public hearing to consider the removal of a public shade tree on Myrtle Street in Beacon Hill.
The February 21 hearing will discuss the proposed removal of one linden tree measuring 11 inches in diameter at breast height from 81 Myrtle St.
The removal would make way for a curb cut at the rear of the property facing Revere Street.
The city’s tree warden or a designee will hold the public meeting. The warden will accept or deny the application within two weeks of the hearing.
