Whole Foods Market is inviting the community to attend a grand opening ceremony at its new Arlington store Wednesday morning.
Arlington Town Manager Adam Chapdelaine will join Whole Foods employees for a “Bread Breaking” ceremony at the store at 808 Massachusetts Ave. at 9:45 a.m.
The store will then open for business at 10 a.m. in the space formerly occupied by Johnnie’s Foodmaster.
The grocery store will be the 28th operated in Massachusetts by the Texas-based grocery store chain. It will have 33,000 square feet and will offer groceries, produce, seafood and meats along with prepared foods.
