Chef Paul Turano's third annual culinary bike tour, a 22-mile journey exploring local food and wines, will hit the road on Oct. 6.
The event will kick off at Quad Cycles, one of the companies Turano has partnered with, in Arlington. The first stop will be Ferns Country Store in Carlisle, where bikers will be greeted with wine tasting and small snacks. Wilson Farm in Lexington will be the next stop, featuring a tour of the farm and a stop at the farm stand.
The day will end with a two-course dinner at Turano's Tryst Restaurant.
The wine tasting and snacks at Ferns Country Store and dinner at Tryst are included in the $40 per person it costs to sign up for the tour. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes, though rentals from Quad Bicycle will be available for an additional $17 per person.

11:00 a.m. - Group meets at Quad Cycles located at 1043 Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington for bike fittings and review of itinerary
11:45 a.m. - Group departs Quad Cycles and rides to Ferns Country Store.
11:45 a.m. - 11 mile ride to Ferns Country Store in Carlisle.
1:15 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. - First stop at Ferns Country Store for wine tasting and bite to eat
2:15 p.m. - 8 mile ride to Wilson Farm in Lexington.
3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. - Second stop at Wilson Farm for stop at the farm stand.
3:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. - 3 mile ride back to Quad Cycles in Arlington.
4:15 p.m. - Group drops bikes off at Quad Cycles in Arlington.
4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. - Group dines at Tryst in Arlington. Time may vary depending on rider’s preference.
