Fifty-four local boys and girls were selected to attend a mini-camp at Gillette Stadium led by former New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi.
The youth were selected to the SBLI Tedy Bruschi Kids Football Clinic on June 20 based on essays they wrote.
The children received a personalized locker, an official Bruschi Patriots jersey, a proper announcement onto the field while running through a big inflatable helmet and the chance to participate in football drills with professional football players, including Zoltan Mesko, Jerod Mayo, Brian Hoyer and former Patriots players Christian Fauria, Sammy Morris and Ray Ventrone.
