The Brookline-JP Patriots Midget (ages 12-14) and Pee Wee (ages 9-11) teams has advanced through regional competition to qualify for the 57th annual Pop Warner Super Bowl at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complexﾙ in Lake Buena Vista, FL, Saturday, Dec. 7 through Saturday, Dec. 14.
They will play on Sunday, December 8 at 1:00 pm (Midget) and 4:00 pm (Pee Wee) during the first round of the national championships. If they win, the Midget team will continue on to the second round of competition on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 10:30 am and the Pee Wee team will play Wed. at 1:15 pm.
Sunday, December 8- Division I Midget Games at 1:00 pm:
Game 1: Brookline-JP Patriots (MA) vs. Kaneohe Knights (HI)
Game 2: Ontario Jaguars (CA) vs. Blackhawks A.C. (PA)
Game 3: Bedford Heights Saints (OH) vs. Overtown Tornadoes (FL)
Game 4: Capital City Steelers (NC) vs. East Bay Warriors (CA)
Sunday- Division I Pee Wee (9-11 yr olds) Games at 4:00 pm:
Game 1: White Oak Warriors (MD) vs. Richmond Perrine Giants (FL)
Game 2: Redwood City 49ers (CA) vs. Brookline-JP Patriots (MA)
Game 3: VA Beach Mustangs (VA) vs. Arlington Thunder (TX)
Game 4: Far West Jets (AZ) vs. Oak Park Trojans (MI)
Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. is the oldest youth football, cheer and dance organization in the country. Pop Warner has a long history of promoting safe and structured athletics and instilling the qualities of sportsmanship, hard work and leadership in its young athletes. It is the only national youth sports organization that requires academic proficiency as a prerequisite to participation. The NFLPA estimates that 70 percent of current NFL players started their career in Pop Warner programs.
