Notable former writers for Harvard Lampoon
The celebrated author, perhaps foreshadowing his long relationship with a character named Rabbit Angstrom, wrote a piece in Lampoon in the 1950s titled "The Different One."
It began this way: "Contrary to popular notion, writers, not mother rabbits, name bunnies. The mother of the courageous rabbit thought of him only as the different one, the one who gave her the trouble. We shall call him Elwood."
