The U.S. shutdown has shuttered some tourist sites

The partial shutdown of the federal government has had a varied impact on travelers to Boston, a city of rich history dating back to colonial times. While such historical sites as the Old North Church and the Granary Burying Ground remain open to the public, others have been shuttered or their rangers furloughed. Here are six Boston landmarks that have in some way felt the shutdown’s sting. [Full story]
