Korean pop star PSY visiting Harvard Thursday

"Gangnam Style" is about to meet the Ivy League.
Korean pop star PSY, whose hit “Gangnam Style” has more than a billion views on YouTube, will speak at Memorial Church Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in a conversation sponsored by the Korea Institute at Harvard University.
Afterwards, PSY will buy dinner from Korean restaurant, Bibigo, for 1,000 attendees of the lecture, according to the restaurant. Bibigo doesn't have any restaurants in Massachusetts, but the the restaurant chain is flying in a chef from Korea to cook for the attendees.
Tickets to the conversation are only for those with a Harvard University identification, but a live stream of the event will be available online, according to the Korea Institute’s website.
Joining in the conversation with PSY will be Alexander Zahlten, assistant professor of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, and the moderator of the event, Carter J. Eckert, the Yoon Se Young Professor of Korean History.
