Injured New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski visited an Emerson College social media class Friday to talk about Twitter and mug for the cameras.
According to the Emerson College news office, "Gronkowski was candid with students about his previous Twitter exploits – and a particular, headline-grabbing incident last year involving him posing for a photo with an adult film star.''
“Obviously I would never, ever do that again,” he was quoted as saying on the Emerson website. “Ever since then, [I’ve learned] that because you’re in the public eye and everyone is looking at you… If I put something out there I’ll have to deal with the media, the team, my friends, everything. I try to keep it PG.”
Gronkowski's Twitter handle is @RobGronkowski.He has more than 379,000 followers.
The Emerson class is taught by David Gerzof Richard, a part-time faculty member. Students recruited Gronkowski by tweeting at him to encourage him to visit the class.
"Hey! It was a blast!!'' said student Kelsey Lemmon, who sent Your Town these photos. "Gronk took my essay and graded it!''
