By far the largest of the national parks at 13,188,000 acres, Wrangell-St. Elias National Park is about six times the size of Yellowstone. Home to sections of four major mountain ranges, Wrangell-St. Elias contains nine of the 16 highest peaks in the United States, four of which tower above 16,000 feet. The park has more than 150 glaciers, one of which is larger than Rhode Island.
