Celebrations in Vietnam
Like the Chinese, the Vietnamese celebrate a Mid-Autumnal Festival on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month with moon cakes. The festival of Têt-Trung-Thu, however, is focused on celebrating children. Families not only gather to feast on moon cakes and other foods, but to play with their children. Families participate in lantern processions, dances, and cultural arts and crafts.
