19. LimeRock Inn
Rockland, MaineLimeRock Inn hosts a number of friendly spirits, according to the paranormal experts the inn consulted.
For more than 50 years, the residence housed the medical practice of Dr. Oren Lawry. Originally built for Congressman Charles E. Littlefield in 1890, the doctor bought the massive Victorian in 1949. The inviting main house includes turrets, a wrap-around front porch, and an expansive guest suite that used to serve as the doctor's examination room. One of the front parlors once held patients waiting for their appointments. Now it's filled with spirits, still biding their time. According to paranormal experts, a crowd of giggling phantoms were observed holding court at the top of the stairs.
