Bob Crowley, five-time winner of the New England PGA Championship, says this par 4 presents a challenge if you play aggressively, but it also offers a distinct method of attack for the player choosing to be conservative. The hole plays anywhere from 342 to 386 yards. Crowley says that once you get around the corner, the last 110 yards or so are uphill to a well-bunkered green.
His recommendation: If you want to take the truly daring route, use "a driver up and over the corner, with a hook to set up a wedge second shot. But beware those of you hitting driver, because if you don't hook it, good luck."
