Climbing Mt. Washington

My long-time friend Jon Rosen joined me on the hike, and we set out on the popular Tuckerman Ravine trail from Pinkham Notch. The path starts out at 825 feet above sea level and ascends to 6,288.67 feet over 4.9 miles to reach the summit. And the trail is rocky virtually the entire way. The first two miles or so are a steady uphill climb, with plenty of rock to provide some firm footing.
