One bite into Lake Champlains honey caramel, Woodfine praised the Vermont confectionary for its perfect caramel consistency. This is what you want your caramel to be like, she said. Its not hard, not too soft. Just perfect. Woodfine also liked the way the chocolate was tempered, producing a nice shine. But she wasnt as keen about some of lake Champlains other samples, including the maple crunch. Its just too dense. Theres not a lot of stuff going on.
