At Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Holliston is what is said to be the largest rosary in the world, a 900-foot-long, blessed string of boulders, fastened by marine chain and tethered to an anchor, donated by the Navy in memory of President Kennedy. It snakes around the grounds, has been here since 1952, and attached to each stone is a prayer plaque in a different language. This is a majestic place on 23 acres, with Calvary Hill, Madonna Hill, stations of the cross, a grotto, a cemetery, a peace angel, and the rosary. This is a beautiful place, said Father Francis Signorelli, and its the rosary most are fascinated by.
