Luxury hotel to sell 24-carat rose gold iPad in support of Breast Cancer Awareness

rose-ipad.jpgBurj Al Arab in Dubai is kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by launching its Pinking Burj Al Arab campaign aimed at luxury travelers and shoppers.

The highlight of the Pinking Burj Al Arab campaign is the exclusive, one-of-a-kind 24-carat rose gold iPad created especially for the cause, with an engraved pink ribbon and the hotel's logo.

Want it? You'll have to travel to Dubai to get it. Or, you can "like" the Burj Al Arab's Facebook page and be the winning bid for the item. The rose gold iPad will be reserved in Burj Al Arab's boutique for the person offer the best price on the Burj's hotel's Facebook page, with all proceeds going towards Breast Cancer initiatives.

This isn't the only pink initiative taking place in the luxury hotel. The Pinking Burj Al Arab campaign includes lighting the famous sail-designed hotel in pink with a projection of the pink ribbon logo, and bespoke Pink Indulgence food and beverage offerings, such as the Pink Tea and the "Bella Rosa" Pink Cake. 50% of proceeds from the sale of the items will go towards supporting Breast Cancer initiatives.
