New York City's annual “Hotel Week" room rates start at $100

trad-room.jpgNew York City is preparing for its second annual "Hotel Week", taking place Jan. 4-20, 2013, and some of the city's top hotels are already taking reservations.

Twenty hotels spanning various Manhattan neighborhoods offer room rates of $100, $200 and $250 –– a massive discount for some of the hotels, which charge upwards of $500 a night.

Why the drastic drop in room rates? January is typically New York's slowest month for travel and tourism, and while the weather doesn't always cooperate that time of year, it's a great opportunity for travelers to check out some of the city's top-rated hotels.

Prices for a one-night stay are $100, $200 or $250. Here's a breakdown of the 20 hotels and their rates. To book the room, click on the link or follow the instructions listed:
