If you've oogled at hotel decor and wondered how good it might look in your house, now's your chance to turn wonder into reality. The contents from the original Four Season Hotel Toronto are going up for auction to make room for the new Four Seasons Hotel that's scheduled to open this September.

Everything from window dressings to table accents and custom furnishings from the luxury hotel will be auctioned off from May 31-June 2 to private collectors and members of the public. Auction house IAAS Worldwide is managing the luxury hotel's auction.

According to reports, you'll be able to bid on everything from the 400 luxury guest suites to the hotel's kitchenware and spa adornments. Hosting a dinner party soon? Bid on banquet tables, buffet trays, and champagne buckets from the hotel. Grand pianos, crystal chandeliers, designer lamps, and marble flooring will also be auctioned off, as well as bedding, spa robes, antique desks and kitchenware. Other items include:

  • 165 writing desks
  • 323 wood-framed mirrors
  • 60 flat-screen TVs
  • 350 room safes with keys
  • 279 bar fridges
  • 10 Murano glass chandeliers
  • 2 Yamaha baby grands

"The Four Seasons was a glamorous destination for many international travelers, celebrities, and Toronto socialites," says Alan D. Loeser of IAAS Worldwide. "The public is invited to place their bids May 31-June 2 and take home a piece of this well-appointed history."

IAAS is preparing to auction over 15,000 items over the three-day auction. You can view the items up for auction during the preview dates May 29 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Auction runs May 31 to June 2 starting at 9 a.m. For auction inquiries visit

The current building will become The New Residences of Yorkville Plaza. The new Four Seasons Toronto, also located in Yorkville, is rumored to open in September, but the website is currently accepting reservations starting Oct. 1, 2012.
