Burlington Community Boathouse
Bottom of College Street
Watch the sunset from the second-floor balcony. Parking in waterfront lot, $6. Year-round.

Battery Park
Battery and Pearl Streets
Broad grassy park on a bluff overlooking the lake. Free parking on the right, by the police department.

Ethan Allen Park
North Avenue
The 1905 tower is at the top of a short walking trail. Open Memorial Day to Labor Day, Wednesday through Sunday, noon-8. Going north on North Avenue from Battery Park, it’s the park on the right just before the entrance to the Ethan Allen Shopping Center, on the left.

Overlook Park
Spear Street, South Burlington
From the lake, follow Main Street up the hill and past the university. Watch for the Spear Street sign. Turn right and continue about 3 miles. The Park is on the right. See islands, mountains ridges, and sailboats from a small parking area.
