Dancing in the moonlight
Jay Premack/Globe Staff
When the group King Harvest released its hit song, "Dancing in the Moonlight" in 1973, little did the band's members realize that a small group in Cambridge would take their message so seriously. Tango by Moonlight is a celebration of Argentine dance, held under full moons each summer on the Weeks Memorial Footbridge. The 11-year tradition welcomes dancers of all levels to participate in a picture-perfect setting and, perhaps best of all, it's free. The next moonlight tango will be held on August 28, with a rain date of August 30. For a complete schedule, visit the group's web site.
