2009 Head of the Charles Regatta

Despite a predicted forecast of rain, the first day of the 45th annual Head of the Charles Regatta kicked off with sunny skies and heavy crowds.
The world's largest two-day rowing event attracts up to 300,000 people every year, and more than 7,500 athletes from around the world compete in 55 separate races.
