Conrad launches a new travel app
Conrad officials said it's the first service-enabled technology completely integrated with hotel management systems across a brand's portfolio. Conrad guests can connect through a mobile device across the more than 20 Conrad hotels and resorts. The technology is designed for Apple and Android operating systems.
The chain commissioned a survey to gauge need for the service, finding nearly 32 percent of respondents were more likely to use a mobile device or computer to order room amenities, like towels and toiletries, rather than ask a hotel employee. The survey also found that 69 percent of respondents value a hotel that can customize their experience to reflect personal preferences, and nearly 75 percent use their smart phone, tablet or computer when booking elements of their business or leisure travel.
