Want to save 50 percent off select Swiss Passes when traveling with children?
Rail Europe Inc. has partnered with Swiss Travel System and Switzerland Tourism to unveil the Switzerland Family Rail Sale, a limited time offer that must be booked between April 21 and 27. Travel must take place within six months of purchase.
The Swiss Pass allows unlimited travel on all trains, boats, and postal buses that make up the Swiss Travel System. Kids up to 16 years of age always ride for free when accompanied by an adult and all Swiss Pass holders get free access to over 400 museums in Switzerland.
With the Switzerland Family Rail Sale, families may choose from the Swiss Pass, which offers eight consecutive days of travel, or the Swiss Flexi Pass, which allows passengers to select any three days for travel – consecutive or non-consecutive – within one month.
The eight-day Swiss Pass starts at $288 for first class and $193 for second class. Prices for the three-day Swiss Flexi Pass start at $192 for first class and $128 for second class.
Bookings can be made by visiting Rail Europe’s website .
Rail Europe and Switzerland Tourism have also joined forces to debut an online interactive sweepstakes. Starting on May 3, travelers can go to RailEurope.com to enter a chance to win a grand prize trip to Switzerland.
