There is certainly more to St. Patrick's Day than Guinness and leprechauns. For those history buffs and storytellers, The JFK Library is showing, "Themselves -- An Immigrant's Story", on Saturday, March 13. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to leave the only home you knew, to settle in an entirely new country? This presentation follows a young 19th century Irish woman on her way to America. Witness her struggles to begin a new life, while keeping her Irish heritage alive, in this interactive performance of storytelling, music, and dance. There are free performances for children ages 5 and up at 10:30 a.m., though reservations are required. Call 617-514-1644 for information.
