Well the 14th has come and gone, and if I may be presumptuous, I'll assume that many of you really screwed it up. You either bought wilted, red roses at Walmart, a golden heart on a too-wide, chain from a mall kiosk, or, or maybe...you did nothing at all. Because I'm always looking out for ya, here's your shot at redemption, and we're talking major romance here.
Saturday, Feb. 27 is the next full moon and Hilltop Orchards is hosting a Full Moon Moonlight Ski around their property. The light of the moon will blaze the trail for you on cross country skis or snowshoes from 6:30-8 p.m., followed by hot chocolate and a roaring fire. Need something a little stronger than cacao? Then step up to the wine bar to a free tasting from the Orchard's winery, Furnace Brook.
No equipment, no problem. Call ahead to reserve snowshoes or skis. Pre-register by calling trail guide Holly Brouker at 413-281-2028. Do the right thing.
