Logan International Airport ranks second to last in customer satisfaction among medium-size airports, according to a study released today by J.D. Power and Associates. Only LaGuardia Airport fared worse among the 20 similar-size airports surveyed.
Logan has been slipping in the study ratings for the past several years, from seventh of 25 in 2007 and 16th of 21 in 2008. (The study, in its ninth year, wasn't done in 2009). Of the 63 small, medium, and large airports studied, only seven received lower scores than Logan.
Kansas City International Airport came out on top among medium-sized airports; Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport scored highest among large airports, and Indianapolis International Airport won out in the small airport category. Rhode Island's T.F. Green Airport ranked sixth out of 24 among small airports.
