Snow is in the forecast. And many more days that barely reach 30 degrees. Better get creative with your time as you await the daffodils. Vermonters are known for their wintry creativity. Join them for some frigid fun Saturday, Feb. 13 at Lake Hero for their annual F-f-frozen Chosen Regatta. The ice in City Bay, North Hero is cleared for skating and kept cleared for the Regatta that includes only human-powered machines, made by all ages, either solo or by teams. A $20 entry fee benefits the North Hero Community Hall restoration. Prizes are awarded in several categories, and plenty of hot food and drink will be available to keep you warm. Call 802-372-4161 or look online for details.
