For all you who are praying the cold goes away soon, check out this opportunity to sample some hot Celtic music. The Boston Celtic Music Festival is queued up for Jan. 8-9, and will feature some of Boston's best performers of Irish, Scottish, Cape Bretton, and other Celtic or Celtic-influenced music. Club Passim in Harvard Square kicks off the festival with an evening concert on Friday, and the crazy popular Celtic Dance party at the Boston Urban Ceilidh in Medford continues the party. On Saturday the festival goes into overdrive as four stages are lit up all day with Celtic music. Tickets can be purchase separately or together for reduced rates.
