Oh man, are there some bad jokes out there. And I am not just talking bad, old-man-humor-bad...I mean, bad. And I will be the first to say that I can find myself belly-aching over a nonsense joke as much as the one full of wit and delivery. So with that being said, some genius had the smarts to make a night of what there is so much of...bad jokes. And then they turned them into plays. Brilliant. Who is 'they' anyway? In this case, children. Check out the group's mission.
The Media and Arts Center at Met Public in Providence, R.I., presents A Beluga Whale Walks into a Bar, the really bad joke plays, this weekend Nov. 14-16. Tickets are free, but reservations are encouraged. Go support the kids and have a bunch of laughs while you're at it!
