In Massachusetts, taste tests, community potlucks, restaurant challenges, film screenings, and more are featured. Events are focused on supporting healthy, affordable, and sustainable food.
For the 20 Mile Food Challenge in Cambridge, restaurants create dishes using ingredients sourced within a 20-mile radius of Harvard Square. Participating eateries include Harvest, Rialto, and UpStairs on the Square. Menus feature items including parsnips, beets, pumpkin, hen-of-the-woods mushrooms, and kale. Info here.
