Chocolate Bar launches Sept. 8

Does the end of summer make you sad? Here's an antidote: all-you-can-eat chocolate. The Chocolate Bar at the Langham Hotel's Cafe Fleuri returns for the season with a mind-boggling array of desserts. Cupcakes, truffles, brulees, bread pudding, crepes, whoopee pies, and other delights are created with various varieties of chocolate. September's offerings include lemon madeline with ivoire cremeax and strawberries, and caramelized white chocolate torte with banana and sesame. There are chocolate cocktails too, made with ingredients like raspberry vodka, dark chocolate Godiva liqueur, and Frangelico.

Chocolate Bar 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays at Cafe Fleuri at the Langham Hotel, 250 Franklin St., Boston. $40, $55 with two chocolate cocktails, ages 5-12 $28. 617-451-1900, ext. 7125.
