The growing season is upon us, and local farmers markets are opening for the season. What can you buy now? Tender asparagus, creamy goat cheese, fresh eggs, nutritious greens, and yummy baked goods to list but a fraction of the tempting inventory. Area farmers bring their bounty to Boston's Copley Square on Tuesday and Friday, Central Square in Cambridge on Monday, and Davis Square in Somerville on Wednesday.
