- The Liberty Hotel is partnering with indie film fests to present movies throughout the season, starting with Paul Cotter's 2010 comedy, "Bomber," on Monday. The Martha’s Vineyard International Film Festival selection follows the hijinks and tribulations of a father and son road trip— tears and hilarity ensue, Enjoy free popcorn and a cash bar. - Catch family-friendly flicks on Fridays at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell. The series kicks off June 17 with a special Father’s Day-themed screening of “Daddy Day Care,” starring Eddie Murphy. The weekly screenings continue through the summer with some of our animated faves, including “Despicable Me” on July 22 and “Toy Story 3” on August 12. Fridays at sundown through Aug. 26. Free. - Boston Harbor Hotel begins its Movies by Moonlight on June 17 with the1944 Otto Preminger detective drama, "Laura," starring Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews. The film greats continue through September 2. There's a genre for everyone, from the “Pink Panter” (July 15) to “An Affair to Remember” (Aug. 19).
