Boston Fashion Week is just around the corner — Sept. 25 - Oct. 2, to be exact. To celebrate, the always-in-style Boston Public Library will screen fashionable flicks on the next three Monday evenings. "Mahogany" is playing on Sept. 14 and "Unzipped" is on Sept. 28.
And — drum roll please — one of my favorite films of all time is showing on Sept. 21:
"ZOOLANDER!" I must have watched this scene 200 times on repeat when the movie came out on DVD. David Bowie judging a walk-off between Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson to the tune of "Beat It?" Pure cinematic genius. See you there, barring a terminal case of the black lung, Pop.
Scoot your well-heeled self to the Rabb Lecture Hall. The free movies start at 6 p.m.
