Here's a little video clip from Bloodfeast -- it's a Halloween party I help organize every year. (sounds gory, but it's for a good cause....the party promotes upcoming Red Cross blood drives and raises $$ for a journalism scholarship.)

This year's bash took place at Machine (1254 Boylston St.) on Saturday, Oct. 28th. The dancefloor was packed, and in between DJ sets there were some crazy live performances by Spoiled, Sarula, burlesque by Lena Michaels, rapping zombies known as Z.W.A. (Zombies With Attitudes), and dancing zombies from [:a:]ngeldustrial.

I spotted so many good Halloween costumes -- there was a guy walking around (and dancing) on stilts...people came dressed like Darth Vader, Boy George, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz...I was very impressed.

(I kept my Halloween costume pretty simple: green shirt + camo hat = look everyone, I'm an Army soldier.)

At the end of the night we held the Halloween costume contest. My friend Lombardo and I emceed, and our fab judges had a tough time picking the winners...there so many great outfits. In the end, a giant flip-flop won the grand prize. Watch the video and you'll see.
