jj.jpgDuring our occasionally satisfying Friday chat, we discussed the Patriots' chances against the relentlessly annoying Philip Rivers, John Jefferson and the rest of the San Diego Chargers, whether it's futile, shrewd or something in between for the Red Sox to pursue free-agent-to-be Cliff Lee, a dazzling start for the Bruins, a certain statue in Harvard Square, and the usual media chatter.
