Athletes of the Year
Division 1: Andover, Midfield
The Merrimack Valley Conference Player of the Year helped Andover gain its first Division 1 state championship in the school's history. She scored six goals, had 24 assists, and earned a spot on the Best of 60 team. Dimitruk, a senior, plans to continue playing at Northeastern.
Division 2: Watertown, Center forward
The Middlesex League All-Star notched 23 goals and 21 assists this fall, giving her 66 goals and 39 assists for her career with a year to go. Kelly's play led Watertown to its second consecutive Division 2 state title. The center forward also competes in hockey, softball, and lacrosse.
Falmouth, Senior, Center-mid
Falmouth reached the South sectional quarterfinals with the help of its senior captain. The center midfielder earned Best of 60 All-Star honors and the Falmouth Coach's Award. She also competed in the National Future Championship Tournament and competes in ice hockey, track, and lacrosse.
Bishop Stang, Senior, Forward
The Eastern Athletic Conference's leading scorer helped Bishop Stang reach the MIAA Division 2 South quarterfinals and finish with a 17-1 record. She scored 14 goals, notched 10 assists and was team captain. She is also captain of the lacrosse team and enjoys snowboarding and skiing.
Canton, Senior, Forward
The Hockomock League MVP helped her team capture the Division 2 South championship with 14 goals and six assists on the season. The senior forward is a three-time league all-star and has verbally committed to Quinnipiac University for the fall of 2011. She enjoys running in her spare time.
The senior forward powered Acton-Boxboro to the Division 1 North final with 20 goals and 12 assists. Felt, A-B's captain, was a four-year varsity starter and won state championships in 2007 and 2009. She was also captain of both the indoor and outdoor track teams this year.
Hotchkiss, Senior, M
The Founders League MVP and Western New England all-star captained Hotchkiss to a 17-0-0 record, Western New England title and the New England Class A crown. Fowler scored 17 goals and dished out five assists. She also captains the hockey and lacrosse teams.
Dennis-Yarmouth, Center midfield
Holahan continues in a long line of D-Y players named All-Scholastic. The senior was named to the Best of 60 roster and was an Atlantic Coast League All-Star after scoring 13 goals and adding 6 assists. She's a member of the National Honor Society and will continue her career at Stonehill.
Newburyport won the Cape Ann League championship with the help of Johnson, who was named the League's Division 1 Player of the Year. The senior was also named to the Best of 60 squad and is also co-captain of the basketball and lacrosse teams at Newburyport.
Watertown earned its second straight Division 2 state title, led by the Middlesex League All-Star. A senior, she had 21 goals and 16 assists and was a member of the Best of 60 games. Jones, who also competes in track and hockey, plans to attend UMass-Lowell.
With a tough-as-nails defense, Acton-Boxboro finished the regular season 18-0 behind the play of Kim, a Dual County League All-Star. She has two career goals and helped her team win the Division 1 state title last year. The senior is also a member of the National Honor Society.
Newton Country Day, Freshman
The freshman midfielder racked up 20 goals and seven assists this season. She is a member of the U-17 USA National Team and will be traveling to Holland with the team in the spring. The honors student also plays ice hockey.
Malone helped Walpole earn the Division 1 South sectional title, notching 32 goals and 12 assists on the year. The Bay State MVP was also named a Best of 60 All-Star and she finishes her career with 69 goals and 23 assists. The senior is also captain of the outdoor track and field team.
Manchester Essex, Forward
The Manchester Essex captain led her team to its third consecutive Cape Ann League title. The senior led the league in scoring with 21 goals and 26 assists and earned Best of 60 honors. The National Honor Society member will play field hockey at Columbia University next year.
Team captain, McManus helped the Vikings win the Division 2 state title for the first time in 11 years. She scored 13 goals, totaled 12 assists, and was named to the Best of 60 squad. She is a three-time CAL All-League player and was the Division 2 Player of the Year.
Duxbury, Sophomore, Forward
Duxbury's leading scorer and an offensive was a Patriot League All-Star and helped her team reach the Division 1 South quarterfinals after beating Bridgewater-Raynham in the first round. The sophomore played three varsity sports as a freshman, including ice hockey and lacrosse.
The Rivers captain and three-time all-star keeper finished the season with a 0.70 goals-against average, 90.4 save percentage, and 9 shutouts. She also captains the softball team and plans to play field hockey at New Hampshire.
Torres helped Andover capture its first Division 1 state championship by beating Algonquin. The sophomore forward earned Merrimack Valley All-Conference honors with an impressive 22 goals and 13 assists. She also plays lacrosse in the spring and enjoys snowboarding in the winter.
Sandwich, Senior, Forward
The Atlantic Coast League All-Star netted 14 goals and helped Manchester Essex reach the MIAA North sectional semifinals. Webb, the team captain, has 31 career goals and also competes in track, lacrosse, and basketball. The senior is a member of the National Honor Society.
The senior captain helped Beverly reach the North semifinals by scoring 21 goals, notching 14 assists, and earning Northeastern Conference MVP honors. She led the conference in scoring and was named Beverley's MVP as well. She also plays ice hockey, lacrosse, and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Giuliano led Cohasset to its first South Shore League title in 22 years and a regular-season record of 15-0-3, the best in school history. The Dartmouth College grad has a career coaching record of 40-5-7 on a team she said featured a strong midfield and robust defense.
Under Noone's guidance Andover captured its first Division 1 state championship, posting an undefeated 24-0-0 record. The Fitchburg State alumna has a career coaching record of 185-39-32. At Stoneham High School, where she graduated from in 1981, Noone played field hockey, basketball, and softball.
