The Portugal FA announced today that Cristiano Ronaldo won't play in tomorrow's friendly against Brazil at Gillette Stadium due to tendinitis.
Team doctor Henrique Jones revealed that Ronaldo played through tendinitis when he scored a hat-trick in Portugal's 4-2 win over Northern Ireland in World Cup qualification last week.
"Ronaldo has had a week of intense treatment, he made an enormous sacrifice and now he needs to rest," the doctor said.
