Shalrie Joseph, a four-time MLS All-Star starting XI player with the Revolution, was absent from the team's season-opening workout Monday in Foxborough.
Joseph, a starter at several positions since the 2003 season, is expected to practice Tuesday, according to coach Steve Nicol.
Asked about Joseph's whereabouts, Nicol replied: "I don't know. Hopefully there's nothing wrong."
Asked if Joseph was expected to train Tuesday, Nicol said: "Yes. As I said, hopefully there's nothing wrong."
